Cammell Laird v AFC Liverpool, 8th September 2015
Our trip over the water to face the Cammells got off to the worst possible start, going 2-0 down in the first 14 minutes! Within a minute of going two goals down, right back Michael Williams lost the ball, then won it back, before going on a run down the right. Williams played in Ronnie Morgan, who brought us back into the match with a nice strike. With the score at 2-1 to the Cammells, Reds' Keeper Ryan Jones was called upon to make a couple of saves in quick succession. Immediately after the second save, Ryan badly musjudged a corner, and one of their guys headed over inside the six yard area. To be fair to their lad, the ball came quickly after the goalie's misjudgement. We were often surrendering possession cheaply throughout the first half. We did though come close to drawing level, when a Ste Jones effort from over 25 yards just went wide.
