AFC Liverpool v West Didsbury & Chorlton, 6th February 2016
It was the day of the 77th minute walk out at Anfield, in protest at ticket prices, as Liverpool conceded two late goals to draw 2-2 against Sunderland. Meanwhile at AFC, it was Ryan Cox's final match before departing to the old enemy over the bridge. We were 2-1 down at half time, having been 2-0 down. The first goal was a shot from the edge of our area, with our keeper Ryan Nield poorly sighted. Their second saw their left back slide in to score, after a ball across the area. We were very much second best, and West should really have been further ahead. Totally out of the blue, we came back just before half time. The goalscorer was Franny Barry, after their keeper appeared to misjudge a cross. Within a few minutes of the second half, West missed a glorious chance to go 3-1 up.
